BMS 8th grade students who meet the following criteria are eligible to complete an application for the BMS student of the year:
*Enrolled as an 8th grade student at Benton Middle School for entire 24-25 school year.
*At least 3.5 GPA in grades 5-8.
*All Mastery and/or Advanced LEAP Scores in grades 5-7.
To complete an application, join the google classroom (icanxgf) and submit the application by 8am, October 16th. Rubrics and a sample application are provided to help you.

Concessions will be sold during this time, so be sure to bring money! All students can pay $5 to participate in a free dress day on their perspective grade day.

8th Graders at Benton Middle are pursuing the high school credit, Quest for Success.
During the Entrepreneurship and Innovators Unit in Quest for Success, students conducted research on market products to create and design their own T-Shirts. Students learned how creative qualities can be applied to achieve and apply the Engineering Design Process in order to design a t-shirt. We are #BMSProud 💜💛

Our BMS Tiger Band got the opportunity to play at the BHS football game Friday night! They rocked the stands with the BHS Band and took the field with them at half time. 300 Benton band kids together in the stands and on the field. Tiger Pride! #BMSProud
