This week is Red Ribbon Week at Cope Middle. Each day is a special dress day to remind students to be drug free! Students will receive a ribbon in the homeroom class on Monday to wear each day. Prizes will be passed out randomly if students have the ribbon on each day! We hope you join in with the fun!

6th Grade Girls showed tremendous improvement, with Olivia Todd finishing 9th overall!
7th/8th Grade Boys earned a 7th Place Team finish.
7th/8th Grade Girls finished strong in 6th Place Team standings!

Two of our 8th grade CMS students, Clayton Scott and Brody Scott, participated in the Bossier Sheriff’s “Kids Shoot for Youth” Charity event this past weekend. Their team took 1st place for middle school. It was a mixed group of 2 Cope students and 2 Benton students. Way to go, guys! Congratulations on taking first place! 🥇

Thank you to all of the parents who helped to supply our Apple Bar today! Also, a very special shout out to parents who helped to keep supplies available through all of the lunch shifts! It was a great way to end the week, and our faculty and staff enjoyed it so much. It was definitely a hit! Thank you for being the Apple of our Eye at CMS!
