1) Our basketball game is postponed to March 2. We are still scheduled to play our Thursday night game at this time. Basketball players continue checking your Basketball Room in our app for more information from Coach Newton. Spirit groups, you will also need to check your rooms in the app in case your sponsor needs to give you more information.
2) We will not have any practices for any sports, teams, or groups on Monday or Tuesday this week. Please check your rooms in the app in case your coach or sponsor posts information.
3) Please remember Mardi Gras tickets are still available online at School Cash online. The weather will not change the final date to purchase tickets on January 30.

We have 2 home basketball games this week Our Bucs will take on Greenacres on Monday and Cope on Thursday. All basketball games start at 4:30. 7th grade plays first. Remember students may not be dropped off. They must have an adult with them. No outside food or drinks are allowed.
On Thursday we are yelling "Glow Bucs Glow" and inviting our students to wear neon/glow colored clothes to the game (not to school). All students who wear neon/glow colored clothes to the game will get in free!
Our HMS Alive group will meet on Thursday.
Our Lady Bucs Softball team has a game on Thursday at Ruston Jr. High!

All Bossier Parish Schools will be closed on Monday for Martin Luther King's Day.
Our Fall Athletic Assembly will be Tuesday, January 20. We will recognize our All Academic Teams along with a few other awards. Not every athlete will get an award. This is for football. cross country, girls' basketball, pep squad, and volleyball.
Boys' Basketball will have their jamboree at Elm Grove Middle School. It is $5 for students and adults to attend. According to the HMS handbook students must attend with an adult and no outside food or drinks allowed.

Bus 48 and 72 will not be running again tomorrow. Other buses will transport these students. Buses 301, 67, 37, 285, 299, and 1 may be delayed as well since they are helping get other students. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

As we return to school to begin our winter quarter, please review the school uniform policy. The only approved sweatshirt is the one purchased from BSN. Solid color sweatshirts are not part of our uniform policy. Jackets need to be solid in color. Sweatpants are not permitted.
