🍎 Donation Drive: United Way’s Day of Service!
Curtis Elementary is excited to participate in United Way’s Day of Service! We’re hosting a donation drive to support Airman’s Attic, an organization that provides essential items to our local military families.
🗓️ Donations Due: October 31
🎁 Where to Donate: Bring your items to your classroom collection box.
Let’s show our community spirit and make a difference together! The class with the most donations will win a Popsicle Party to celebrate their generosity! 🍧✨
Every donation counts—thank you for helping us support those who serve!

Join us for our annual Veterans Day Celebration at Curtis Elementary! We're honoring all who served on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:00 AM in the Curtis Elementary Gym.
Our Military Club has prepared a special program, and refreshments will be served. It's a wonderful opportunity to show our gratitude and respect for our veterans.
We would also love to create a PowerPoint presentation featuring pictures of service men and women who have students at Curtis Elementary. If you have a family member you'd like to honor, please email their photo to ashley.wynn@bossierschools.org.
Please RSVP for the event by emailing Ashley Wynn at ashley.wynn@bossierschools.org.
Important Note for 5th Grade Families: Please be aware that the following 5th-grade classes will be off-campus for a field trip to Starbase during the Veterans Day program: Mrs. Blake, Miss Cunningham, Miss Lofton, and Miss Hackleman.
We can't wait to celebrate with you! #VeteransDay #CurtisElementary #HonoringOurHeroes
