As we kick off the 2025–2026 school year, we want to ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient arrival and dismissal process for all of our students. Please take a moment to review our Carline Procedures for this school year. We’ve included a helpful map and guidelines (see below) to make the process as easy as possible for you and your child. 🔸 Key Reminders for Drop-off and Pick-up: • Enter the car line from Barksdale Boulevard, nearest Plume Daycare. • Follow the red path shown on the map and pull up as far as possible to the covered sidewalk. • Students must enter and exit the vehicle from the right side only, nearest the curb. • For safety, please do not allow students to exit from the driver’s side or drop them off on the main road. • Keep your green CES car tag visible on the dashboard for quick identification during pick-up. • Please stay in your car unless parked in a designated spot, and wait for staff assistance when unloading. 🕗 Carline Times: • Drop-off: 7:55 – 8:20 AM • Pick-up: 3:10 – 3:25 PM ⛔ Reminder: Cell phone usage in a school zone is prohibited under Louisiana law. Dear Curtis Elementary Families,

We're so excited to kick off the 2025-2026 school year! Get ready for a fantastic year with these important updates:

1. Registration is Open & Important Deadline! ✍️
It's time to register for the new school year! Please gather your two current proofs of residence (utility bill + property tax/deed/lease/declaration of residence form) and log into your OnCourse account to complete your child's annual registration. To ensure class placement for Meet the Teacher Night, registration MUST be completed by July 31st! You can also download the Bossier Schools App to stay informed.

2. Meet the Teacher & Supply Drop-Off Event! 🎉
Join us for our "Meet the Teacher" and Supply Drop-Off "Come and Go" event on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM! This is a great chance to:

-Drop off school supplies 🎒

-Meet your child's teacher 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

-Pick up Round 1 Spirit Orders (if placed)

-Sign up for transportation 🚌

Homeroom teacher assignments will be available for pickup at the event AFTER your child's 2025-26 Student Registration has been finalized.

3. School Supply Lists Are Ready! 📋
Get a head start on your back-to-school shopping! Supply lists for each grade are available. Check out the attached graphics for 4th and 5th-grade lists!
