🚗✨ It’s almost time, Curtis Tigers! ✨🚗 As we gear up for an amazing first day of school, here’s a friendly reminder about our CES Carline Procedures to keep everyone safe and things running smoothly! 🐯💚 📍 Follow the traffic route map and enter through the designated entry near the daycare. 📄 Keep your GREEN car tag visible on the dash. 👋 Students should exit on the right side of the vehicle onto the sidewalk. 🚫 No students should enter or exit from the driver’s side. 🚙 Pull all the way forward to help keep the line moving! ⏰ Drop-off: 7:55 – 8:20 ⏰ Pick-up: 3:15 – 3:30 ⚠️ For everyone’s safety, please do not drop off on Barksdale Blvd or leave your vehicle at the curb. Due to the severity of the weather and employee safety, today's summer meal box distribution is being pushed back an hour. Meals will be available for pickup at all four sites from 8 a.m. to noon. We appreciate your understanding.

If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. Congratulations to Kylee Thornton! Keep Bossier Beautiful, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office and Bossier Parish Police Jury are burying a time capsule this summer in commemoration of America's 250th birthday. Bossier Schools has selected Kylee Thornton's art piece "Happy Birthday America" to be a part of the time capsule. The capsule will be placed at South Bossier Park and opened in 2076.

It's been a BLAST this year in the library! Check out our Library Lagniappe for some special shoutouts to end the school year. Congratulations to our five students who read all 15 Louisiana Young Readers' Choice books this year: A'Kya A., Lucy W., Annaliese E., Kaileigh W., and Harrison T. This is also Harrison's second year to earn this achievement! Remember to check out the summer reading programs at the public library and "Buzzing about Books" challenges on Facebook.
