Some of our students will have artwork displayed in the upcoming Cultural Night at Bossier Instructional Center. As part of this project, students explored important landmarks and regions, creating pieces that highlight the beauty and culture of Italy.

Their artwork features scenes such as the rolling vineyards of Tuscany, the iconic Rialto Bridge in Venice, and the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Through this creative process, students have learned about Italy’s rich history, architecture, and landscapes while expressing their understanding through art.

We look forward to sharing their hard work and creativity with you during Cultural Night!

It’s National Library Workers Day, and we have the two best in the business! 📚✨

A massive shout-out to the incredible Mrs. Robin and Mrs. Stanley! These two don't just check out books; they go above and beyond every single day to foster a love of reading, help us find that perfect resource, and make our library the most welcoming place to be.

From organizing the shelves to inspiring our minds, they are the true "quiet heroes" of our community. We are so lucky to have their expertise, their kindness, and their passion for learning.

🌟 Principal Todd Takes Charge! 🌟
Move over, administration—there was a new boss in town today at Curtis Elementary! We were so excited to welcome Tegan Todd as our "Principal for the Day," and let’s just say she hit the ground running.

Tegan had a packed schedule and handled her executive duties with total confidence and a big smile. Here’s a look at her very busy day:

The Morning Buzz: Tegan kicked things off by taking over the microphone for the morning announcements. Her clear voice and positive energy set the perfect tone for the entire school!

Behind the Scenes: Being a principal isn't all glory; there’s work to be done! Tegan spent time carefully counting out student prizes, ensuring everyone's hard work was recognized.

The Crowd Favorite: During recess supervision, Principal Todd made a very popular executive decision—extra recess time for everyone! It’s safe to say she’s officially the most popular principal in Curtis history.

Lunchroom Leader: She wrapped up her shift by supervising the lunchroom, making sure everything ran smoothly and chatting with her fellow students.

Thank you for making today so much fun. You showed us all what it means to lead with a "student-first" attitude!

Way to go, Principal Todd! 🍎✨
